About this record
First hand-printed VA from Berlin-based vinyl enthusiasts collective shockwerk, featuring a CRYME track among others. This is the label's debut release, and it carries the tactile, DIY ethos you'd expect from a crew that actually cares about the object in your hands.
shockwerk operates from the heart of Berlin's underground, curating a tight selection of contemporary techno that favours depth over trend. The VA format here works as a statement of intent - a crew introduction rather than a scattered survey. Each track has been chosen to sit properly in a DJ set or a focused listen at home.
Limited edition and numbered. Expect a record that looks and feels like it was made by people who understand both the music and the medium.
