About this record
Classic house from our close affiliate Cinthie. Soulful, Chicago style - the kind of record that reminds you why the form still matters. Look Mom! No Piano strips back to essentials: warm drums, filtered strings, and that particular gravity that comes from understanding deep house as a living tradition rather than a template.
Cinthie's been a reliable presence in Berlin and beyond, moving through house music with a steadiness that comes from real knowledge. This EP on 803 Crystal Grooves finds her working with the restraint and groove-sense that separates craft from novelty. The title itself signals intent: no tricks, no flourishes, just the architecture of a track that actually works on the floor.
A solid addition if you're looking for house records that have substance beneath the surface.
