About this record
Essential Boo Williams EP with tracks originally released between 1998–2001. A must-have repress for lovers of classic, funky and sharp house music.
Boo Williams built his reputation on precisely this kind of material - deep, soulful house with genuine groove and minimal affectation. The Residual EP collects four tracks that showcase his ear for the fundamentals: crisp drums, warm basslines, and enough space to breathe. These aren't fashionable cuts; they're the real thing.
Rush Hour's repress makes these tracks accessible again after years of digging. If you've heard Williams' work on Stress or his own Euphonic label, you know what's coming. If not, this is a logical entry point into his deeper catalogue.
