Glenn’s Staff Pick
Love this chilled, laid back house classic. First time I heard it I played it three times back to back.

About this record
Repress of an absolute Chicago house classic by one of the genre's pioneers. Larry Heard, aka Mr. Fingers, cut these two tracks back in 1986. Now remastered and pressed on fresh wax.
Heard's influence on house music runs deep - his work defined the spiritual, soulful approach that separated Chicago from the harder European sound emerging at the same time. These tracks showcase exactly why: stripped-back arrangements, warm synths, and a sense of space that lets every element breathe.
Alleviated Records have done right by this reissue, giving the original masters proper attention and pressing to 45 RPM for maximum fidelity. Essential listening for anyone serious about house music history, and a reminder that the best records age remarkably well.
