About this record
Second instalment in Jesse Bru's ongoing series for Happiness Therapy. Five tracks that move fluidly between house, breaks and garage, keeping the production lean and the dancefloor intent sharp. Limited to 500 copies, pressed March 2024.
Bru has built a steady reputation for this kind of work - understated but purposeful, rooted in a deep understanding of how records actually function in a room. Chronicles Of Bru Vol. 2 doesn't announce itself. It builds, shifts weight between the genres, and lets the grooves do the talking.
Happiness Therapy continues its run of French house and garage hybrids with this one. If you caught the first volume, you know what's at stake here. If you didn't, this is the place to start.
