Jesse Bru

Jesse Bru opens a new chapter on Happiness Therapy with Chronicles Of Bru Vol.1, a lean deep house and garage affair that stakes out the Vancouver producer's stripped-back sensibilities. The four tracks here move between dubbed-out grooves and textured garage frameworks, built from the kind of restraint you don't hear much anymore - no filler, no drift.

Happiness Therapy, the Lyon-based independent imprint, has quietly become one of the sharper European outlets for this crossover sound, and Bru's debut on the label sits naturally within their catalogue of uncompromising house releases. Limited to 500 copies on 12 inch.

Deep house for people who actually know what deep house is.
