Repress alert: the first of five 25th-anniversary vinyl samplers from Belgian institution Visitor. This is sought-after early-00s tech house that's never been repressed until now. Fred Nasen's 'Sunday Visitor (A Visit From The Mingers)' is the standout cut, showcasing the precise, driving sound that defined Visitor's golden period.

Visitor's output in the early noughties occupied a sweet spot between the mechanical logic of tech house and the ethereal layers of tech trance. This sampler captures that balance perfectly, with tracks built on locked-in grooves and crisp percussion, layered with the kind of atmospheric detail that rewards repeated listens on proper speakers.
