About this record
Unofficial UK tech house edits operation. This debut on Ba Dum Tish pairs stripped-back garage mechanics with Lil Peep vocals - a tribute to someone taken too soon - and channels the naughty energy of a white label bootleg featuring King Princess. Suckdog strips the excess away, letting breakbeats and UK garage fundamentals do the talking.
Two tracks that feel lived-in rather than polished. The kind of edits that work because they're built on genuine affection for the source material and the spaces where these sounds actually live. First proper vinyl statement from an operation that understands the grammar of UK underground dance music without needing to announce it.
Ba Dum Tish welcomes Suckdog with the kind of no-nonsense A-side energy that suggests more will follow.
