About this record
Crate digger trance material from 1999 - a genuine gem on the influential Fog Area Trance label. DJ Snowman's Waves lands squarely in that late-90s sweet spot where breakbeat percussion met trance's hypnotic drive, the kind of record that rewards both deep listening and dancefloor commitment.
Fog Area Trance was instrumental in pushing progressive and hard trance toward more textured, sample-led territory during this era, and this release exemplifies that vision. The breakbeat programming is intricate without being fussy, the synth work measured and atmospheric - exactly the material diggers still hunt for.
A proper reissue candidate that's held up remarkably well. Both 33 and 45 RPM cuts provided.
