About this record
Unique record. Darren Allen bends genres like it's nothing on Teleology - slightly abstract but still floor orientated as hell. This is tech house that refuses to stay put, abstract enough to demand attention but grounded in genuine dancefloor logic.
Allen works across broken rhythms and minimal frameworks without ever losing sight of what moves bodies. The tracks sit somewhere between the geometric precision of minimal techno and the fluidity of contemporary house, with enough leftfield detail to keep headphone listening interesting. Underlying Form has consistently championed this kind of genre-agnostic approach, and UF009 is no exception.
Limited edition 12" that rewards both the club and the home listener.
