Cyclic/Random

Soft chords drift over steady, laid-back grooves. Bass pulses with understated weight while echoes curl around the stereo field. This is atmospheric music at the intersection of dub techno and deep, dubbed-out house - four tracks that unfold slowly, rewarding patient listening with textural depth and spatial clarity.

Cyclic/Random constructs these pieces with restraint and precision. Nothing feels rushed or overstated. Instead, the EP breathes, allowing each element - a filtered drum pattern, a reverb-tailed synth line, a sub-bass movement - to occupy its own space before the next arrives. It's the kind of record that sounds different at 3 a.m. than it does in daylight, and better still on a proper sound system where those echoes actually land.

Notta Records continues its run with material that sits comfortably in the dub house tradition without chasing trends. Pressed at 45 RPM on 12-inch vinyl for maximum sonic fidelity.
