It’s time for another SEVEN compilation and this one is BIG with SEVENVA02 announced!
After the success of SEVEN’s first Various Artist’s compilation, SEVENVA01 we worked hard to bring another seven incredible artists to you for SEVENVA02. We are super super proud of this one and it’s out now for pre-order with a ship date of end of August.
You can download it a full month early this time from 28th July, exclusively on Beatport. You can pre-order it from our own Bandcamp and get the digital download there too. And for the first time on SEVEN, when you buy in a record store the vinyl includes digital download codes that get you a free download from our Bandcamp store after purchase.
Again we are introducing seven new artists to the label. These include a production debut by our best friend Carmen Electro who releases her first ever track “Viviane“. Plus we have music from Berghain / Panorama bar DJ’s Zombies in Miami, Byron Yeates and Pink Concrete.
SEVENVA02: Limited edition Transparent Vinyl
This one we made for the collectors. SEVENVA02 is pressed on a beautiful transparent vinyl matching the artwork done by our graphics and brand goddess Milla Barbanera . Milla has been responsible for all of SEVEN’s graphics and cover designs since we started.

SEVENVA02CAS: Super Limited Edition Audio Cassette
For SEVEN’s second VA we wanted to acknowledge our musical heritage and take a nod to our history with a beautifully produced and remastered cassette edition. Strictly limited to just 50 production copies, SEVENVA02CAS is the audio cassette version of the VA. Available on our Bandcamp and from selected record stores.

SEVENVA02 Track by Track
A1 – Zombies in Miami – Unknown Pleasures
Zombies in Miami are Mexico’s most wanted couple behind the decks and in the studio. We bring their rhythmic, synth-driven house and techno hybrid to Berlin. “Unknown Pleasures” is inspired by the golden era of tech house, with deep dub chords perfectly complementing the crisp drum work. Their skilled use of reverb and delay creates a lush stereo image that sends you straight into space.
A2 – Carmen Electro – Viviane
Carmen Electro dedicates her first release to her best friend Viviane. As expected, Carmen brings her DJ-first approach, offering a perfectly mixable, stripped-down intro that gradually evolves into an uplifting, tribal-infused techno track with a Latin touch. Driving percussion layered over a distorted bassline, meets warm piano chords and vocals. A perfect fit for SEVEN.
B1 – Mohajer – Pause
Mohajer joins the VA with a stripped-down, highly functional house banger titled “Pause”. With a minimal approach to sound design and snappy, sharp drums, she’s created a track full of clever rhythmic changes that keep it fresh from start to finish. A tight, modern mixdown makes it perfect for club systems.
B2 – 1morning – Like a Funk Machine
Bringing some vintage heat to the VA, LA-based 1morning drops “Like a Funk Machine”. As the name suggests, this one leans into classic funk elements: organs, piano, shakers, and quirky synth chops riding a driving, crunchy low end. It sounds and feels old-school for a reason.
C1 – Byron Yeates – Aetherius (Deep Zone Mix)
Byron Yeates goes real deep with his “Aetherius (Deep Zone Mix)”. A minimal, techy deep house cut that drifts between playful, yet serious. Expect those distinct Byron Yeates vibes: hypnotic yet inviting, fun yet mature, and always ready to lock the floor in.
C2 – Pink Concrete – Have You Ever Played Bounce
With “Have You Ever Played Bounce”, Pink Concrete invites you into soothing, beautiful, deep-dubbed sunset vibes. It’s techno with a touch of pink: spacious, warm, and emotional, rolling along like the perfect soundtrack to the end of a long day or to close the night in the morning hours.
D1 – Najeh – Workout
Closing things out, Najeh contributes a bouncy, well-balanced composition to this compilation. Influenced by the late ’90s and true to his motto – Kick Drum, Bass Line, Hi Hat – Najeh doesn’t need much to craft a highly effective dancefloor heater. With a tight, well-mixed low end as the foundation, some vocal chops, and hihat drum variations, this release stands strong on just a few elements.
