Safe Space Records

Safe Space Records is run by Ackermann (Andres Klein), the Stuttgart based producer, sound engineer and SEVEN roster artist.

Ackermann describers the project as a safe space from house to techno, which is about right: rough-edged techno dynamics meeting high-tempo house energy, tight drums, textured bass and stripped-back rhythm tools built for the floor.

The first nine releases were Ackermann solo before the label opened up to other artists in 2023 with its first various-artists set, Safe Spaces, and the roster has since widened through further compilations and EPs from names like Maccari, Jancen and Black Mirror Park.
