Devilish Affair

Devilish Affair is a dub-leaning vinyl and digital label launched in 2021 by Eric Louis, the New Jersey based dub techno producer who still runs it and releases on it.

It started with the Adventures EP, which picked up early support from DJs including Andrey Pushkarev, Ryan Elliott and Evan Baggs. The remit is straightforward: dancefloor-focused house and techno shot through with dub and technoid tones, most of it vinyl only, with sleeves carrying Brooklyn photographer Philip Warp's nocturnal New York images.

SEVEN has Louis's own Rolling Hills, backed with remixes from OHM, Tm Shuffle and Dan Goul, David Heine & Konstantin Kost's Behind The Rhythm and Alex V's Infinity EP with a Massiel remix. Deep house warmth, dub weight, no fuss.
