Natural Goofy
From Spain, based in Sweden
Natural Goofy is the production alias of Nando Cases, a Spanish DJ and producer currently based in Sweden. His music moves across minimal techno, electro, tech house and trance, and his approach is driven by instinct over Function: tracks built from slow-building loops, quietly emerging detail and tension that accumulates rather than announces itself.
He founded Planka Records in 2019, running it as a vinyl-only imprint from Spain. The label's catalogue documents his development as a producer and serves as a home for collaborators including TC80, Emi Koto and Comik Sans. His 2026 twelve-inch "Continuous EP" (PLNK008) marked his first full solo release on the label, following years of appearances across various labels and collaborative projects.
A recurring partnership with Italian producer Shkedul has produced the self-released Amigos series, a limited ten-inch run built around the two producers joining forces in the studio. The series spans three volumes, including the "Coaxial EP" (AMIGOS02) and the "Terminus Jungle EP" (AMIGOS03). Beyond Amigos, he and TC80 delivered the four-track "No Plan EP" on Planka in early 2026, covering ground from minimal techno through electro and tech house.
Outside his own imprint, Cases has placed tracks on Pillz, with the "Misty Secrets EP" in October 2025 drawing on styles from techno and electro through to minimal and house, as well as on BOOOoo!, Unearthed Records and Toscal Records. The 2025 three-way collaboration "Sides EP" with Jesse You and Comik Sans broadened his collaborative reach further.
