Cybersex are Stef de Haan and Nick Edwards: Amsterdam based DJ’s, producers and promoters.
Cybersex have been close friends of the SEVEN team since the start. We met when SEVEN co-founder CRYME played at their De Reünie party in Amsterdam and found a great musical and personal match. The friendship deepened over another couple of gigs and then CRYME joined the De Reünie family as a resident.
Nick and Steff met at fashion school in Amsterdam and quickly became friends. Their DJ act quickly followed with Cybersex being a pioneer in speed house with a twist. The Cybsersex sound draws from the worlds of dub, house, and techno, but always delivered at a faster pace. It’s an act that pushes boundaries, transforming tracks into something unrecognisable. Glitchy synthesisers, modulators, and a sea of drum machines are at the heart of their sound.
As a duo they are Cybersex and as solo acts the boys excel too.
Stef de Haan is one of the most prolific producers on the underground scene, sometimes releasing a track every week. Fiercely independent he loves owning the whole process of producing a track and getting it into the hands of his fans. He does his own mastering, graphic design, distribution and promotion. Hands on owning the process makes him happy.
Nick Edwards also DJ’s solo as “Edwards“. As a solo artist he leans more into his Techno side.
