BLANKA

BLANKA is a DJ, producer and co-founder of Room Trax, based in Berlin. Originally from Córdoba, Spain, she spent formative years in Barcelona, where she first learned to mix with friends and began exploring house and minimal techno, drawing early inspiration from artists like Ricardo Villalobos. A move to Berlin during the COVID lockdowns marked a shift in her sound, which grew heavier and more focused, shaped by the city and its communities.

Together with her partner Angioma, BLANKA runs Room Trax, a record label and event series operating between Berlin and Barcelona. What began as a passion project has grown steadily into a platform with a strong sense of community, a thoughtful approach to curation and a catalogue of releases rooted in club-focused techno. Room Trax nights have taken the project to venues across Europe, and BLANKA brings the same care to selecting spaces as she does to selecting records, with a genuine interest in architecture and atmosphere.

As a producer, she has released on SK_eleven, Soma Records and Involve Records, among others, and has collaborated with Orbe on Matterwave. Her DJ career has brought her to venues including Berghain, Tresor, Fabrik Madrid, FOLD London, Fuse Brussels, Elysia Basel, Radion and Lofi in Amsterdam, and Garbicz Festival. Living sober since 2022, she has spoken openly about how that decision has supported her growth as an artist and shaped the focused, full-time practice she maintains today, spanning DJing, production and event programming. An early background in modelling and time spent in Milan continue to inform her visual sensibility and the aesthetic direction of Room Trax.
