About this record
This blend of Chicago House and Detroit Techno is guaranteed to take over dance floors worldwide. No fast BPMs here - just the right vibe, sound, and feeling.
Terrance McDonald brings a measured, soulful approach to deep house on The Shaman EP. The tracks unfold with the patience of proper floor music: warm basslines, considered percussion, and the kind of hypnotic arrangement that rewards sustained listening rather than chasing spectacle. It's music built for the journey, not the moment.
Funkshun Keys continues its mission with FKR 002, establishing itself as a label uninterested in trend-chasing. This is deep house as it should be - rooted in the fundamentals of Chicago and Detroit, executed with the focus and craft those origins demand.
