SaPu

Expect what the title says. Berlin-based SaPu on his own imprint, delivering exactly what Deep Cuts promises - stripped-back house that prioritises substance over flash. This is material built for the booth and the dancefloor in equal measure, crafted with the kind of restraint that separates thoughtful producers from trend-chasers.

SaPu's approach here sits comfortably between deep and tech house territories, favouring textural development and understated grooves over obvious hooks. The tracks reward close listening both at home and when pushed through a proper system. Rhythm By Nature, SaPu's own label, has established itself as a home for this kind of measured, no-bullshit sensibility - RBN002 is another case in point.

This is house music for people who actually listen to house music.
