Nachtboutique

Repress alert. Berlin deep house from DJ Jauche (Oliver Marquardt) on his own Flaneurecordings imprint. Originally dropped in 2017, this one threads disco, funk and oldschool house together with the kind of understated confidence that defines the city's underground.

Flaneuring through the dancefloor with a broken metronome and a smile, Jauche's production sits somewhere between peak-era Deep Dish sophistication and the looser, more tactile grooves of early 2010s Berlin. These tracks breathe. They've got the low-slung swagger of proper disco edits, the synth-work of someone who understands space, and rhythms designed for 4am conversations as much as sweaty peak-time moments.

Flaneurecodings has always been a label for people who actually listen. This repress deserves your attention if you value substance over flash, and if you understand that great house music doesn't announce itself—it just becomes unavoidable.
