About this record
Techy, laidback, slightly weird deep house cuts with well-balanced percussion work and maximum groove. This is the sound of someone who knows how to build a track without overthinking it - Mr. Tophat strips things back to essentials, letting the drums breathe and the bass sit properly in the pocket.
KVK1200 sits comfortably in that space where tech house curiosity meets deep house sensibility. The percussion has real character; nothing feels programmed to death, and there's enough oddness in the details to keep you listening rather than just dancing on autopilot.
Karlovak continues its run of solid, unassuming deep cuts with this one. Vinyl-only, designed for DJs who value groove over gimmick.
