About this record
Strong VA from Cologne's Kontur label and event series. This second compilation pulls together the crew's most compelling work across ambient, EBM and techno territory. Arthur Robert emerges as the highlight - his contribution cuts through with the kind of precision and atmosphere that defines Kontur's approach: serious, uncompromising, built for both headphone listening and the dancefloor's deeper hours.
Kontur has carved out a distinct identity in the Cologne underground since its inception, balancing raw industrial edge with genuine sonic adventurousness. This compilation showcases that ethos across multiple contributors, each bringing their own angle on the label's core aesthetic.
