About this record
Music for freaks. This is classic Gigolo sound - the kind of electro-house engineering that defined the label's early 2000s run. Freaks deliver the A-side with precision and attitude, that distinctly European tech-house sensibility that doesn't apologize for its edges or its intellect.
Steve Bug handles remix duties on the B-side, bringing his own measured hand to the material. Bug's work for Gigolo throughout this period was about restraint and detail - nothing wasted, every element earning its space. That philosophy carries through here.
Cat: Gigolo 119. January 2003. 45 RPM 12". For those who still understand what Gigolo Records actually meant.
