Erwin

Five sweet mostly vocal-driven deep house productions with well balanced sounds and touches of acoustic elements. This is understated, human-scaled deep house - the kind that rewards close listening rather than demanding it.

Erwin constructs these tracks with care, layering warm pads and organic textures beneath considered vocal performances. There's a restraint here that feels deliberate, even meditative. The production never overextends itself; instead each element knows its place in the mix.

Arepas Records announces itself with this debut release, and they've chosen well. This is the sort of record that works equally on a late night at home or in a deeper dancefloor context - the mark of properly considered house music.
