About this record
Polynom's debut release from 2011, and a proper one at that. Daniel Schwarz strips things back to basics here - two tracks of old school deep house built for the dancefloor with economy and purpose. The A-side cuts straight to it: simple, effective, made to move bodies rather than impress headphone listeners. Thomas Stieler steps up for the remix on the flip, adding his own interpretation to the formula.
Schwarz understood that restraint works. No bloat, no unnecessary production flourishes. Just solid, stripped-back house music that respects the dancefloor and the people on it. Polynom's first outing set a clear marker: this label knew what it was doing.
A decade-old cut that's aged well. Deep house purists and floor-focused selectors will find plenty to work with here.
