After joining us on SEVENVA01 last year, Stuttgart’s Ackermann returns to the label with his first full EP for SEVEN. Three tracks from the man himself, plus remixes from two artists who already feel like part of the SEVEN family: Berlin’s own Cinthie and Swiss house and techno favourite Deetron.
SEVEN7011 “I Know What To Do”
The EP opens with the title track, ‘I Know What To Do’. You can hear nods to Ackermann’s early days digging into hip-hop and jungle — the way he chops and pitches the vocals, the clever sampling, the crisp drums. It builds into a fast, joyful groove that’s made for the dancefloor.

Next up is ‘Can’t Give You Up’. This one swings deeper. Heavy kicks sit alongside bright synth stabs while the chopped vocals slowly build the energy across the track. A real grower.
Remixes by Cinthie & Deetron
We’re really happy to have both Cinthie and Deetron back on the label for this one.
Cinthie — DJ, producer, label boss and the woman behind Berlin’s Elevate record store — was actually on our very first release, SEVEN7001 ‘Hold On’ by CRYME, back in November 2024. Her soulful house rework of that track helped set the tone for the whole label, so it’s lovely to have her back. This time she takes on the title track, weaving classic chord stabs through stripped-back sections and snare-heavy peak-time moments. Made for the big rooms.
Deetron also returns to the label after his remix of ‘Release’ on SEVEN7006 ‘No Disco’ by Tal Fussman.
On ‘I Know What To Do’ he heads in a Detroit direction — rolling drums, sharp hi-hats, a tight low end and modulated filters that gradually open up the main hook. Classic Deetron: clean, musical, and built to play.
Ackermann
Ackermann has been making music for over fifteen years and has put out records on labels like UNCAGE, Safe Space (his own label), Hotflush, Rekids and Syncrophone. He’s had six EPs reach the top three on Beatport’s techno charts, and his tracks have been played by everyone from Ben Klock and Honey Dijon to Charlotte de Witte and Laurent Garnier.
He took a break from DJing during the pandemic but started playing out again in late 2025 — so if you’re lucky you might catch him in a club soon.
