Yesterday, on 16th August, SEVEN joined Berlin’s biggest electronic vinyl market for the first time, bringing our music and community spirit to RSO.BERLIN as part of the Wall to Wall Club Festival.
Our team – Ben Reymann and Jonny Mojo – were on hand throughout the day, meeting vinyl DJs, collectors, and curious diggers who stopped by to chat about the label’s releases and future plans. It was a brilliant chance to get direct feedback from the people who live and breathe vinyl culture.
We set up dedicated listening stations, giving everyone the chance to hear our catalogue on wax, and offered all SEVEN releases at a special discount price. We also had something extra for the serious diggers: two forthcoming records, SEVENVA02 “SEVEN’s Various Artists 02” and ART06 “No Fool Love” by C&CF, were both available to buy ahead of their official release dates.
Alongside the music, we brought our t-shirts and merchandise, which proved popular with both long-time supporters and new faces. To top it off, our label artist SLIN dropped in to say hi, making the day even more special (and yes, we’ve got the pictures to prove it).
Being part of the Vinyl Market – with its mix of new pressings, second-hand gems, vinyl gear and panels in the RSO Beergarden – was a real celebration of our shared culture. We can’t wait to be back and continue connecting with the vinyl community that inspires everything we do.
