FAZE Magazine celebrates SEVEN’s latest compilation as a triumph of quality house and queer creativity.
Berlin’s FAZE Magazine has given high praise to SEVENVA02, describing it as an impressive showcase of quality house music and a “tasteful selection of artists and tracks.”
The magazine highlighted the label’s queer identity and curatorial strength, calling the release “the second, quasi-compilation from the queer label from Berlin,” and noted how it “impresses with its tasteful choice of artists and tracks.”

Among the seven featured artists, Zombies in Miami were celebrated for their “beautifully driving and bold” take on the golden era of tech house, while Carmen Electro’s debut and Mohajer’s minimal house contribution were also singled out.
But the biggest compliment came for 1morning’s “Like a Funk Machine”, which FAZE called “outstanding.” The review praised its “syncopated groove, shakers and organ play that make the track feel endless – top!”

The magazine also described Byron Yeates’s contribution as “wonderful, tasteful minimal tech house, deep and euphorically trance-like,” and noted how Pink Concrete’s “dubbed-out techno” and Najeh’s “Workout” in “lively 90s house style with vocal chops” round off “a great compilation.”
