Palinoia

Palinoia (n.): the obsessive repetition of an act until it is perfect or mastered.

This is the motto with which Eric Cloutier and his colleague Nugget curate their Berlin-based, dub techno-leaning label. The Detroit-born artist came to Berlin to pursue his career in music, and did so successfully. He is a Tresor resident and runs his own well-curated label, spanning talented artists across already 12 releases, including Donato Dozzy, Quelza, Andu Simion, and Eric himself.

We want to highlight his mind-blowing 2026 album: My Friend The Abyss.

His work in general is celebrated for its technical dexterity and the seamless bridge it builds between dance music's heritage and its future.

Eric was also the person who gave us parts of his sick record collection to flip in our store for a really fair price, helping us offer second-hand records from early on. Thanks for your help and your work in the scene!
