Sanaz

Sanaz was born in Tehran and is now based in Berlin, where she has built a steady presence in the city's club community. House music in its many forms sits at the heart of her practice, and her sets tend to move naturally between tempos, eras and moods, held together by a consistent sense of rhythm and feeling. There is a warmth to how she reads a room, keeping things grounded even as the energy shifts.

Alongside her work behind the decks, Sanaz hosts Spectrum, a monthly show on THF Community Radio. It is a deliberately open-ended format, giving her the space to move across genres and share a wider slice of what she is listening to.

She has played at a solid range of venues across Europe, including Macadam in Nantes, Nitsa in Barcelona, Blitz in Munich, Gewölbe in Cologne, Core in Madrid and Robert Johnson in Offenbach. In Berlin, she is a regular with the collective Tracey.
