Jeena
she/her
From Montreal, Canada, based in Berlin
Jeena is a Palestinian-Canadian sound artist based in Berlin whose practice centres on neuroacoustic sound, perception, and embodied listening. For her, sound is fundamentally spatial, something that moves through rooms and registers in the mind and body as much as in the ears.
Her work draws on ambient composition, voice, and rhythm to build slow listening environments that shift attention, emotion, and physical state over time. Rather than working within fixed genres, she treats sound as space, weaving together ambient, electronic, and trance influences into atmospheric, fluid systems that function both on and off the dancefloor.
Jeena's practice spans performance, recording, and installation. She has presented work at ADE, HORST Festival, Roskilde Festival, Funkhaus, DGTL, and Concertgebouw, and has held a residency at Kwia. Across all of it, listening remains a collective experience, something soft, physical, and open, where perception becomes something felt rather than simply observed.
