Dopplegang are a DJ & Producer Duo based in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Doppelgang are twin brothers Sander and Maurice de Graaf, originally from Friesland in the north of the Netherlands, now based in Amsterdam. They’ve been collecting music together since childhood, spending their first pocket money on records and music magazines. Moving to Amsterdam in 2010 opened things up, the city gave them the freedom to explore their identities, and the people they met back then are still part of the scene around them today.

They’ve been building a reputation on the club circuit since 2012, playing a mix of house, acid, breaks and ravey disco. O

ver the years their name has appeared on line-ups at venues like Trouw, Watergate, Paradiso and Chicago Social Club, as well as festivals including Mysteryland, Milkshake and Wecandance.

Beyond DJing, the brothers have been active organisers and community builders.

They’ve hosted their own parties, run their own agency, and invited friends to share their art, creating inclusive nights that became a real part of Amsterdam’s nightlife.

In 2018 they launched their own event series Supernature, and in 2022 added Honey Honey, a queer club night rooted in their love of queer culture and community.

Doppelgang have played at well-known queer events internationally, including A Club Called Rhonda in the US and Little Gay Brother in the UK.

As a duo, the two bring different energies to the booth. They describe themselves as each other’s counterparts — different personalities, slightly different tastes — and say that dynamic is what makes playing back-to-back work so well.
