djbb grew up within the club communities of Chengdu and Beijing, where he became a familiar and energetic presence on the dancefloor. As a founding member of Chengdu's Seafood party collective, and through years of quiet, dedicated work as a designer, he played a meaningful role in shaping the visual identity of Chinese club culture.
In time, that same passion found its way into his DJ practice. During the Covid years he was part of a wave of local talent reinvigorating the Chinese club scene, touring widely across the country and building his own series of parties. His selections lean toward high-speed, high-energy, sensual club music, and he has played loud and late in venues throughout China.
Now based in Berlin, djbb has been extending his reach further, with appearances at Whole Festival in Germany, Endurance in Copenhagen, and shows in Lisbon, Melbourne, and Perth.
