Brennan has played Open Ground in Wuppertal.
Brennan is a London-based DJ and producer, best known as the founder of Dubble Records. His sound moves across tech house, deep house and tribal house, with a feel that is consistently dub-inflected and groove-led: heavy sub pressure, hypnotic percussion, and a spacious, after-hours quality that comes through whether he is reaching for a rolling bassline or dreamy pads.
His releases have crossed the Atlantic with ease. The San Diego label Goodtunes welcomed him alongside West Coast duo Crypt Keepers for a split release, placing his production in close company with Bay Area-rooted soundsystem music. His two tracks on the B-side move from dubby tech-house hypnotism through to soft-touch house beats built around a memorable bassline and dreamy pads.
He has also appeared on Fluff Records, the label run by "Uncle Steve," whose debut release brought together a tight selection of moody, rolling house cuts aimed squarely at the dance floor. Brennan's contribution, "Percs Of The Job," appeared alongside tracks from Wilba, Lukey and Joolmad, setting a percussive, purposeful tone consistent with the label's stated direction.
The two labels together sketch a producer who keeps a low profile but chooses his collaborations carefully, favouring imprints with a clear identity and a vinyl-first, dancefloor-first ethos. Beyond his own Dubble Records imprint, his catalogue reflects an ear that sits comfortably between the murky depths of deep tech house and the rhythmic density of tribal-influenced grooves.
