APOLONIA is a house music DJ based in Berlin, Germany

Born in a small Nordic town with Cuban roots, she grew up surrounded by instruments, dance, and rhythm. Music has been part of her life since childhood, and in 2019 she began DJing. Just months later, she joined the Green Berlin collective around Marteria, performed her first festival, and toured Europe with Marsimoto. Soon after, she struck out on her own, shaping a sound and identity that continues to evolve.

Her move to Berlin marked a turning point. With a rougher, more global and personal sound, Cuby became APOLONIA – an artist who doesn’t just play records but builds worlds. Her sets are fluid and genre-blending, moving through house, Latin grooves, Afro house, techno, baile funk and R&B to create an electrifying and liberating dance floor energy.

She is also a visionary curator and host. Founder of @ochunradio, she holds a residency at Oroko Radio and has collaborated with international stations including NTS in New York and London, Refuge Worldwide and Foundation FM. In 2025, she became the first resident DJ at HÖR Berlin and has also toured as DJ for Erykah Badu.

Beyond the booth, APOLONIA is a versatile creative voice, working as a model and actress while collaborating with major brands such as Google Pixel, Adidas, Nike, Lululemon, H&M and Zalando. From Paris Fashion Week to Soho House, she brings the underground spirit into fashion and cultural spaces.

At the same time, she remains rooted in the scene, with appearances at Fusion Festival, Lollapalooza, Heroes and About You Pangea, and stages shared with artists including Marteria, Marsimoto, Yael and Layla Boe.

APOLONIA stands for the new – for empowerment, for queer and creative spaces, and for ecstatic moments with purpose. Her music is a cultural tapestry, inspired by her Caribbean heritage and Afro-Diaspora sounds, and it is not only heard, but deeply felt.
