From France, based in Berlin and Cairo
Acidfinky has played Globus at Tresor in Berlin.
Acidfinky is a German/Amazigh-Algerian DJ and producer based in Berlin. Her Algerian heritage and upbringing in France inform a musical perspective that moves freely across Downtempo, Experimental, Dub, Leftfield Bass and Dubstep. She describes her sound as "crispy": strong basslines, sharp drums and textured rhythms that shift comfortably across tempos and styles.
A dedicated vinyl collector with a feel for cultural nuance, her DJing brings together sonic curiosity and political awareness. She is a founding member of the feminist collective BLVSH, through which she supports FLINTA* artists via open decks, workshops, panels and community events.
Alongside her DJ and production work, Acidfinky runs Maison Sot, an interdisciplinary series operating between Berlin and Cairo that draws music, performance and visual arts into conversation and encourages exchange across cultures. Her radio shows and collective activities round out a practice built on a clear sense of identity and independence.
